Weekly sessions and birthday parties for ages 7+ are now available in downtown Toronto.
Math & Language:
Almost
every aspect of RPGs improve math and language skills. Generating
character attributes, skills, and equipment is all done through math and
reading and creating a successful character relies on a player’s
ability to understand and navigate how these statistics interact with
the game world.
Problem Solving & Teamwork:
Adventures
always incorporporate puzzles or challenges that players must overcome
and the game encourages and rewards creative problem solving, especially
through teamwork.
Cooperation & Communication:
RPGs
organically foster working with others, utilizing different peoples
unique skills. Everyone works together and everyone gets a chance to
shine.
I
have been playing role playing games for 20 years and have been working
with children of all ages in Montessori schools, summer camps and
private/group instruction of music, fencing and skateboarding lessons
for 10 years.
